The W3015 is a 30"-wide × 15"-high bridge wall cabinet built to the standard contractors and designers actually rely on — solid plywood box, soft-close everything. No particle board. No shortcuts. Available ready-to-assemble (RTA) or factory pre-built.

A short, wide "bridge" cabinet that spans the gap above a range, refrigerator, or window between taller cabinets. 12" deep, no adjustable shelves, two butt doors. At $134.20 RTA vs. the $235.24 MSRP — about 43% off — it's trade-quality construction at a price that keeps your remodel on budget.

💡 Bridge Cabinet — Butt Doors. The W3015 has two full-overlay shaker doors that meet in the middle (butt-door setup, no center stile) with an open interior — no adjustable shelves. Ideal for the space above a range, fridge, or window. Door bumpers included.

Watch a step-by-step walkthrough of assembling your RTA wall cabinet. Most wall cabinets assemble in 15–30 minutes with standard tools.

Note: This is our standard wall cabinet assembly video. The only difference for the W3015 is the height or width of the cabinet — it's assembled exactly the same way.

Written Assembly Steps

Prefer to read along? Here’s the short version for your bridge wall cabinet. The panels slide together on dovetail grooves and lock square with metal corner braces, and the back panel rail is screwed in from behind. Most go together in about 15–30 minutes with a screwdriver or drill and a rubber mallet. This cabinet has an open interior with no shelves.

  1. Lay the front face on a soft surface with the dovetail grooves facing up — these grooves receive the side panels and the top and bottom panels.
  2. Slide the side panels into the dovetail grooves on the front face, making sure the dovetails line up and fully engage. Repeat for the top and bottom panels.
  3. Slide the back panel into the dovetail grooves on the side panels until flush.
  4. Fit a metal corner brace into each of the 4 top corners and screw the braces to the panels to lock everything square.
  5. From the back of the cabinet, screw the back panel rail to the top and bottom panels.

Optional — wood glue for a sturdier finish: A small amount of wood glue in the dovetail joints gives a stronger, more permanent bond. It’s completely optional — many of our regular clients have their own preferred way of building these, and there’s no right or wrong method. Build it the way that works best for you.

All measurements are nominal. Allow ±⅛" tolerance. Consult your designer or installer for exact clearances when planning around soffits, crown molding, and adjacent cabinets or appliances.

  • Box: ½" solid plywood — no particle board. Holds screws significantly better and won't swell or delaminate if exposed to moisture. Important for the secure wall-mounting of a loaded cabinet.
  • Face Frame: Solid wood, not MDF. Stays rigid, accepts paint and stain well.
  • Doors: Two full-overlay shaker doors (HDF construction with solid wood shaker profile) in a butt-door setup — they meet in the middle with no center stile.
  • Hinge: European-style soft-close concealed hinges, 6-way adjustable. Fine-tune door alignment after installation.
  • Shelves: No adjustable shelves.
  • Interior: Color-matched box. Door bumpers included.

RTA (Ready to Assemble) is the best value and ships flat-packed, reducing freight cost and damage risk. Assembly takes 15–30 minutes with standard tools. RTA orders are processed in up to 14 business days before they are ready to ship or collect — though most are ready within 3–8 business days, if not sooner.

Factory Assembled units arrive pre-built and ready to hang. Ideal if you want to skip assembly or need a turnkey solution for a client. Assembled cabinets are bulkier to ship, so freight can be higher. Factory assembled orders are processed in up to 21 business days — typically 10–15 business days on average. Contact us — we can often reduce freight costs, especially on larger orders.

Wall cabinets are usually finished with molding at the top and bottom, plus fillers to close gaps. Most orders for this cabinet include:

  • LCM8 Crown Molding — caps the top of the wall cabinets against the ceiling or as a decorative top edge. Sold in 8′ lengths.
  • LVC Large Cove Crown Molding — a larger cove-profile crown for a more substantial top treatment, especially on 42" cabinets that run to the ceiling. Sold in 8′ lengths.
  • LRM8 Light Rail Molding — mounts under the wall cabinets to finish the bottom edge and conceal under-cabinet lighting. Sold in 8′ lengths.
  • WF342 (3") or WF642 (6") Wall Fillers — close gaps between wall cabinets, or between a cabinet and the wall. Both can be trimmed on installation.
  • TUK Touch-Up Kit — recommended with every cabinet order. Covers any nicks or scratches picked up during assembly or installation, and normal wear-and-tear over the cabinet’s lifetime.
  • PR3015 Plate Rack — a plate-rack insert that fits inside this cabinet to store and display plates.
  • LWR3015 Lattice Wine Rack — a lattice wine-rack insert for bottle storage.
  • SGH Stem Glass Holder — holds stemware beneath the cabinet.
