Shipping policy

All of our orders are processed and shipped through Faircrest Cabinets directly.  Faircrest have up to 14 full working days to process orders before they are ready to ship or be collected from one of their warehouses.  This assumes that all items are in stock with no items on back-order.  Please account for additional time for orders to be shipped from the warehouses in Ohio or Florida to your destination.

 

Due to significant recent fluctuations in shipping costs we currently do not offer free shipping.  We have an option of 'paid for' shipping on our checkout.  Note that this is based upon LTL shipping due to the size and weight of most of our products.  There are a few products that can be shipped using FedEx Ground at a cheaper rate - for these, please contact customer services prior to placing your order.

The pricing of items in the shopping carts do not include the price of shipping.  Shipping costs should be automatically calculated at checkout.  Sometimes a shipping quote is not shown if our underlying technology (from Shopify) cannot validate your address.  If this is the case, do not worry!  Contact customer services and we'll find a way to override this error and offer you shipping options.  We can take your shipping address details and provide you with both an estimated amount and estimated delivery date.  The actual shipping costs and delivery dates might vary from what was offered.  Our shipping service is linked directly through the manufacturer and their respective shipping agents and sit outside of our control.

Please also note that the shipping rates for many items we sell are weight-based. The weight of any such item can be found on its detail page. To reflect the policies of the shipping companies we use, all weights will be rounded up to the next full pound.

Items that are shipped usually come flat packed for curbside delivery.  Many of these items are heavy and may require more than one person to safely move.

Shipments are usually made by large 28 foot box trucks with a lift gate.

If you arrange your own shipping:
You will be responsible for your own process.  We can assist you with any details once the order has been picked and processed.  At that time we will know the number of pallets, size, weight, etc.

 

Shipping Price:
The shipping and handling price will be estimated by our customer service team via email. The shipping price will fluctuate if items are added or removed from the order.  We reserve the right to adjust the shipping price for oversized items and deliveries to remote locations.

Additional charges may be levied if:
* the delivery location cannot accommodate a large 28 foot box truck.
* the job site has additional restrictions and requires custom delivery, such as:
  * ferry or bridge toll; * located in remotely rural or densely urban.
These circumstances may extend lead times for delivery based on your location and delivery agent.

Our shipping services are usually for curbside delivery. It applies to any address within contiguous 48 states. Additional costs may apply to Alaska, Hawaii, and international destinations. We reserve the right to add a shipping fee for deliveries to remote locations.

All delivery dates provided are estimates based on previous experience. You will be provided with tracking information and shipping company contact details. We do not recommend scheduling any remodeling or other activities dependent on our products until the products are delivered and inspected.

Shipping Damage Policy:

We strive to minimize shipping damage by choosing reputable shipping carriers and professional packaging materials. However, there are no damage proof items. All shipping damages fall into two main categories: visible and concealed damage.

Visible Damage. Any noticeable damage to shipment must be noted on delivery receipt. Driver will ask you to sign delivery receipt, note damages before signing the delivery receipt. Please contact us within 7 calendar days to report shipping damage.

Concealed Damage. If you find damaged items inside undamaged box, report the damages within 10 calendar days after receipt of shipment. Be prepared to submit photos of damage.
If any shipping damage is reported in more than 10 calendar days after receipt of shipment, we will not be able to provide replacement parts at no charge. Shipping companies usually do not accept damage claims that are submitted late.
