The MW3030 is a 30"-wide × 30"-high microwave wall cabinet — an open microwave shelf area with butt doors above for storage. It's built 18" deep (vs. the standard 12" wall depth) so a countertop microwave sits back neatly. Solid plywood box, soft-close doors. No particle board. Available ready-to-assemble (RTA) or factory pre-built.

At $189.58 RTA vs. the $332.30 MSRP — about 43% off — it's trade-quality construction at a price that keeps your remodel on budget.

💡 For Counter-Style Microwaves — Not Built-In. The MW3030 is designed for a countertop (counter-style) microwave that sits on the open shelf — not a built-in or over-the-range unit. The open area measures 26⅞" wide × 18½" high, and the microwave shelf is 20" deep to support a counter-style microwave. There are no storage shelves — the interior above the doors is open. Butt doors, door bumpers included.

All measurements are nominal. Allow ±⅛" tolerance. Measure your counter-style microwave (including door swing and venting clearance) against the 26⅞" × 18½" opening and 20" shelf before ordering.

  • Box: ½" solid plywood — no particle board. Holds screws significantly better and won't swell or delaminate. Important for the secure wall-mounting of a deeper, loaded cabinet.
  • Face Frame: Solid wood, not MDF. Stays rigid, accepts paint and stain well.
  • Microwave area: An open shelf area, 26⅞" wide × 18½" high, with a 20"-deep shelf for a counter-style microwave. No storage shelves.
  • Doors: Two full-overlay shaker doors (HDF construction with solid wood shaker profile) in a butt-door setup above the opening.
  • Depth: 18" — deeper than a standard 12" wall cabinet so the microwave sits back neatly.
  • Hinge: European-style soft-close concealed hinges, 6-way adjustable.
  • Interior: Color-matched box. Door bumpers included.

RTA (Ready to Assemble) is the best value and ships flat-packed, reducing freight cost and damage risk. Assembly takes 15–30 minutes with standard tools. RTA orders are processed in up to 14 business days before they are ready to ship or collect — though most are ready within 3–8 business days, if not sooner.

Factory Assembled units arrive pre-built and ready to hang. Ideal if you want to skip assembly or need a turnkey solution for a client. Assembled cabinets are bulkier to ship, so freight can be higher. Factory assembled orders are processed in up to 21 business days — typically 10–15 business days on average. Contact us — we can often reduce freight costs, especially on larger orders.

Is this for a built-in or counter-style microwave?
Counter-style — the MW3030 is designed for a countertop microwave that sits on the open shelf, not a built-in or over-the-range unit.

What size microwave fits?
The open microwave area is 26⅞" wide × 18½" high, with a 20"-deep shelf. Measure your microwave (including door clearance and venting) against these figures before ordering.

How deep is the cabinet?
18" deep — deeper than a standard 12" wall cabinet — so the microwave sits back neatly. The microwave shelf is 20" deep.

Are there shelves inside?
No storage shelves. The area above the doors is open, and the fixed shelf carries the microwave. You can add an optional plate rack, lattice wine rack, or stem glass holder.

Are these cabinets solid wood or particle board?
The box is ½" solid plywood and the face frame is solid wood — no particle board. The doors are HDF with a solid wood shaker profile.

Wall cabinets are usually finished with molding at the top and bottom, plus fillers to close gaps. Most orders for this cabinet include:

  • LCM8 Crown Molding — caps the top of the wall cabinets against the ceiling or as a decorative top edge. Sold in 8′ lengths.
  • LVC Large Cove Crown Molding — a larger cove-profile crown for a more substantial top treatment, especially on 42" cabinets that run to the ceiling. Sold in 8′ lengths.
  • LRM8 Light Rail Molding — mounts under the wall cabinets to finish the bottom edge and conceal under-cabinet lighting. Sold in 8′ lengths.
  • WF342 (3") or WF642 (6") Wall Fillers — close gaps between wall cabinets, or between a cabinet and the wall. Both can be trimmed on installation.
  • TUK Touch-Up Kit — recommended with every cabinet order. Covers any nicks or scratches picked up during assembly or installation, and normal wear-and-tear over the cabinet’s lifetime.
  • PR3015 Plate Rack — a plate-rack insert that fits inside this cabinet to store and display plates.
  • LWR3015 Lattice Wine Rack — a lattice wine-rack insert for bottle storage.
  • SGH Stem Glass Holder — holds stemware beneath the cabinet.
