The DB15 is a 15"-wide all-drawer base cabinet in the Faircrest White Shaker line — three full-extension soft-close drawers instead of a door, so the full cabinet interior comes to you. One smaller top drawer and two larger bottom drawers, all on undermount soft-close glides with ¾" solid wood dovetail boxes. ½" solid plywood box, solid wood face frame, no particle board.

At $388.72 vs. the $681.37 MSRP — about 43% below retail — it's the drawer storage detail that makes a kitchen work better, at a price that keeps your remodel, flip, or build on budget. Browse the full base collection →

🗂️ Why Choose an All-Drawer Base?

A drawer base puts your entire storage on full-extension runners — nothing hidden at the back, no bending past a door. Three drawers means three independently accessible zones in one cabinet width.

  • Top drawer — shallower, ideal for utensils, wraps, and everyday flat items.
  • Two bottom drawers — full-depth, full-width. Pots, pans, baking sheets, pantry items — fully accessible on a single pull.
  • Popular at the range, sink, and prep zones where reach-in access beats reach-around-a-door every time.
  • Designers and contractors regularly specify drawer bases at key prep zones — range, sink, and island — for maximum ergonomic access and a seamless, handle-to-handle look across the cabinet run.

  • Box: ½" solid plywood on all four sides — no particle board. Holds screws significantly better and won't swell or delaminate if exposed to moisture.
  • Face Frame: Solid wood, not MDF. Stays rigid, accepts paint and stain well. Full face frame with three drawer openings — one smaller at the top, two larger below.
  • Drawers: Three total — one shallower top drawer and two full-depth bottom drawers. All three are full-extension on undermount soft-close glides.
  • Drawer Boxes: ¾" solid wood with English dovetail joinery — the same construction found in cabinets costing 3× as much.
  • Drawer Glides: Undermount soft-close. Invisible when closed; rated for thousands of open/close cycles.
  • Drawer Heads: Match the shaker door profile across the cabinet run for a seamless, consistent look.
  • Interior: Color-matched box; natural finish on drawer interiors.
  • Drawer bumpers: Included.

RTA (Ready to Assemble) is the best value. Ships flat-packed, reducing freight cost and damage risk. RTA orders are processed in up to 14 business days — most are ready within 3–8 business days. If you're a contractor, flipper, or confident DIYer — RTA is the way to go.

Factory Assembled units arrive pre-built and ready to install — ideal for builders and property managers who need units install-ready. Factory assembled orders are processed in up to 21 business days — typically 10–15 business days on average. Assembled cabinets are bulkier to ship, so freight can be higher. Contact us — we can often reduce freight costs on larger orders.

What makes a drawer base different from a standard base cabinet?
A drawer base has three full-extension drawers in place of doors — every inch of storage is accessible without reaching past a door. Standard bases have one drawer at the top and door storage below, which means the back of the shelf is harder to reach.

Are these cabinets solid wood or particle board?
The box is ½" solid plywood. The face frame is solid wood. The drawer boxes are ¾" solid wood with English dovetail joinery. We do not use particle board.

How long does assembly take?
20–35 minutes with a drill and rubber mallet. All three drawer boxes mount on pre-fitted glides. Watch the assembly video above for a full walkthrough.

Drawer base cabinets are usually completed with a few finishing pieces. Most orders for this cabinet include:

  • TK8 Toe Kick — sold in 8′ strips. Installed over the structural toe kicks to cover seams and make the toe kick area one continuous surface across the cabinet run.
  • BF3 (3") or BF6 (6") Base Fillers — close gaps between cabinets, or between cabinets and walls. Both can be trimmed in height and/or width on installation.
  • TUK Touch-Up Kit — recommended with every cabinet order. Covers any nicks or scratches picked up during assembly or installation, and normal wear-and-tear over the cabinet's lifetime.

Installing on an island or peninsula? If the back of this cabinet will be exposed, finish it with:

  • SPW Skin Panel — a 36" × 96" panel that covers exposed cabinet backs. It can be trimmed on installation, depending on the needs of the remodel.
  • OCS8 Outside Corner Molding — covers the raw corner where the back panel meets the cabinet box for a clean, finished island or peninsula end.

End of a run with an exposed side?

  • DP2430 Decorative End Panel — a decorative "false door" panel for exposed cabinet sides at the end of a run. Dresses the exposed side to match the cabinet faces for an elevated, premium finish.
