Couldn't load pickup availability
The BMC30 is a 30"-wide base microwave cabinet in the Faircrest White Shaker line — it gets the microwave off the countertop and into the cabinet run, at a comfortable, accessible height. The open shelf takes a countertop microwave (opening 27" wide × 15½" high) with one soft-close dovetail drawer below. Built to the standard contractors and designers actually rely on — ½" solid plywood box, solid wood face frame, undermount soft-close drawer glide. No particle board. No shortcuts.
At $334 vs. the $585 MSRP — about 43% below retail — it's the detail that makes a kitchen photograph clean and live better, at a price that keeps your remodel, flip, or rental refresh on budget. Browse the full base collection →
💡 Built-In Look Without Built-In Cost
The BMC30 houses a standard countertop microwave in the base run — freeing counter space and keeping the microwave reachable for kids, shorter users, and accessible-design kitchens. A favourite of designers and builders for clean kitchen photography and universal-design layouts.
- Microwave opening: 27" wide × 15½" high. Check your microwave's exterior dimensions and the manufacturer's ventilation clearance before ordering.
- One soft-close drawer below — ¾" solid wood dovetail box, drawer face 29⅝" × 8".
- Drawer head matches the shaker door profile for a consistent run.

RTA orders are typically processed within 3–8 business days (up to 14 business days). Factory assembled orders are typically processed in 10–15 business days (up to 21 business days). Shipping transit time after processing varies depending on distance from our warehouse locations in Ohio and Florida. Contact us — we can often arrange better freight rates, especially for multi-cabinet orders.
Watch the step-by-step assembly walkthrough. The BMC30 follows the standard base cabinet assembly process — the only differences: the drawer installs at the bottom of the cabinet, and the microwave opening is built into the face frame (there is no door on the microwave bay).
Most base cabinets assemble in 15–30 minutes with a drill, a rubber mallet, and clamps. Prefer to skip assembly entirely? Choose the factory assembled option above.
The BMC30 opening is 27" wide × 15½" high. Before ordering:
- Measure your microwave's exterior width, height, and depth — not its capacity in cubic feet.
- Check the manufacturer's ventilation clearance requirements. Most countertop microwaves need free space around the body and must not be fully enclosed at the rear.
- Cabinet depth is 24" — deeper than most countertop microwaves, leaving room for the plug and cord behind.
- Plan a power outlet inside or behind the cabinet — coordinate with your electrician before installation.
Unsure? Send us your microwave's model number and we'll confirm the fit before you order.

- Box: ½" solid plywood — no particle board. Holds screws significantly better and won't swell or delaminate if exposed to moisture.
- Face Frame: Solid wood, not MDF. Stays rigid, accepts paint and stain well.
- Microwave Shelf: Open bay with a 27" × 15½" face opening, sized for standard countertop microwaves.
- Drawer: One soft-close drawer below the microwave bay; drawer head matches the shaker door profile.
- Drawer Box: ¾" solid wood with English dovetail joinery — the same construction found in cabinets costing 3× as much.
- Drawer Glide: Undermount soft-close. Invisible when the drawer is closed; rated for thousands of open/close cycles.
- Interior: Color-matched box; natural finish on drawer interiors.
- Drawer bumpers: Included.
RTA (Ready to Assemble) is the best value. Ships flat-packed, which reduces freight cost and damage risk. RTA orders are processed in up to 14 business days before they are ready to ship or collect — though most are ready within 3–8 business days, if not sooner. If you're a contractor, flipper, or confident DIYer — RTA is the way to go.
Factory Assembled units arrive pre-built and turnkey — ideal for builders and property managers who need units install-ready, or clients who'd rather skip assembly. Factory assembled orders are processed in up to 21 business days — typically 10–15 business days on average. Assembled cabinets are bulkier to ship, so freight can be higher. Contact us — we can often reduce freight costs on larger orders.

Base cabinets are usually completed with a few finishing pieces. Most orders for this cabinet include:
- TK8 Toe Kick — sold in 8′ strips. Installed over the structural toe kicks to cover seams and make the toe kick area one continuous surface across the cabinet run.
- BF3 (3") or BF6 (6") Base Fillers — close gaps between cabinets, or between cabinets and walls. Both can be trimmed in height and/or width on installation.
- TUK Touch-Up Kit — recommended with every cabinet order. Covers any nicks or scratches picked up during assembly or installation, and normal wear-and-tear over the cabinet's lifetime.
Installing on an island or peninsula? If the back of this cabinet will be exposed, finish it with:
- SPW Skin Panel — a 36" × 96" panel that covers exposed cabinet backs. It can be trimmed on installation, depending on the needs of the remodel.
- OCS8 Outside Corner Molding — covers the raw corner where the back panel meets the cabinet box for a clean, finished island or peninsula end.
End of a run with an exposed side?
- DP2430 Decorative End Panel — a decorative "false door" panel for exposed cabinet sides at the end of a run. Dresses the exposed side to match the cabinet faces for an elevated, premium finish.
