The 2DB33 is a 33"-wide two-drawer base cabinet in the Faircrest White Shaker line — two full-extension soft-close drawers of equal size, replacing the standard door-and-single-drawer configuration entirely. Both drawers are deep and wide enough for pots, pans, baking sheets, and pantry staples — all on undermount soft-close runners with ¾" solid wood dovetail boxes. ½" solid plywood box, solid wood face frame, no particle board.

At $550.49 vs. the $964.93 MSRP — about 43% below retail — this is the drawer upgrade that makes a kitchen work better every day, at a price that keeps your remodel, flip, or build on budget. Browse the full base collection →

🗂️ Two Equal Drawers — The Smart Upgrade from a Standard Base

Where a standard base cabinet gives you one narrow drawer above a door, the 2DB33 gives you two full-size drawers — both deep, both wide, both on full-extension runners.

  • Top drawer — full depth, full width. Perfect for pots, lids, or bulkier pantry items you reach for daily.
  • Bottom drawer — same dimensions. Baking sheets, cutting boards, larger pans — accessible on a single pull without bending past a door.
  • No door means no reaching around. Everything in the cabinet is visible and reachable from the front.
  • Designers and contractors regularly specify two-drawer bases at prep zones and beside ranges for a clean, handle-to-handle look and maximum access without the complexity of a three-drawer base.

  • Box: ½" solid plywood on all four sides — no particle board. Holds screws significantly better and won't swell or delaminate if exposed to moisture.
  • Face Frame: Solid wood, not MDF. Two equal drawer openings spanning the full cabinet width.
  • Drawers: Two equal-size full-extension drawers — both deep and wide enough for everyday cooking essentials.
  • Drawer Boxes: ¾" solid wood with English dovetail joinery — the same construction found in cabinets costing 3× as much.
  • Drawer Glides: Undermount soft-close. Invisible when closed; rated for thousands of open/close cycles.
  • Drawer Heads: Match the shaker door profile across the cabinet run for a seamless, consistent look.
  • Interior: Color-matched box; natural finish on drawer interiors.
  • Drawer bumpers: Included.

RTA (Ready to Assemble) is the best value. Ships flat-packed, reducing freight cost and damage risk. RTA orders are processed in up to 14 business days — most are ready within 3–8 business days. If you're a contractor, flipper, or confident DIYer — RTA is the way to go.

Factory Assembled units arrive pre-built and ready to install — ideal for builders and property managers who need cabinets install-ready on delivery. Factory assembled orders are processed in up to 21 business days — typically 10–15 business days on average. Assembled cabinets are bulkier to ship, so freight can be higher. Contact us — we can often reduce freight costs on larger orders.

What is the difference between this and a standard base cabinet?
A standard base has one drawer above a door. The 2DB33 replaces the door with a second full-size drawer — two deep, accessible storage zones instead of one, both on full-extension soft-close runners.

What is the difference between this and a three-drawer base (DB series)?
The DB series has three drawers — a shallower top drawer and two larger ones below. The 2DB33 has two equal-size drawers — simpler, and ideal where you want two large zones rather than three.

Are these cabinets solid wood or particle board?
The box is ½" solid plywood. The face frame is solid wood. The drawer boxes are ¾" solid wood with English dovetail joinery. We do not use particle board.

How long does assembly take?
15–30 minutes with a drill and rubber mallet. The process is the same as the three-drawer base — just two drawers to build instead of three. Watch the assembly video above.

Base cabinets are usually completed with a few finishing pieces. Most orders for this cabinet include:

  • TK8 Toe Kick — sold in 8′ strips. Installed over the structural toe kicks to cover seams and make the toe kick area one continuous surface across the cabinet run.
  • BF3 (3") or BF6 (6") Base Fillers — close gaps between cabinets, or between cabinets and walls. Both can be trimmed in height and/or width on installation.
  • TUK Touch-Up Kit — recommended with every cabinet order. Covers any nicks or scratches picked up during assembly or installation, and normal wear-and-tear over the cabinet's lifetime.

Installing on an island or peninsula? If the back of this cabinet will be exposed, finish it with:

  • SPW Skin Panel — a 36" × 96" panel that covers exposed cabinet backs. It can be trimmed on installation, depending on the needs of the remodel.
  • OCS8 Outside Corner Molding — covers the raw corner where the back panel meets the cabinet box for a clean, finished island or peninsula end.

End of a run with an exposed side?

  • DP2430 Decorative End Panel — a decorative "false door" panel for exposed cabinet sides at the end of a run. Dresses the exposed side to match the cabinet faces for an elevated, premium finish.
